Yamunatheeram is 14 km away from Payyanur, 39 Km from Kannur and 12 km from Pazhayangadi.

Mangalore airport (120 KM) and Calicut (153 KM) airport are the nearer airports to reach Yamunatheeram and the story teller’s grove. The construction of Kannur International airport is now touching finishing stage. Kannur International airport (Mattannur) is 60 KM away from Kanayi.
